We’ve been extremely busy in the new year building rock entrances, storage and horse stalls and with the new building additions we have new members of The Farm family — baby chicks !!! These are not just any chicks they are Heritage poultry from The Sustainable Poultry Network. Our chicks are Barred Plymouth Rock chicks. Bard tells you the type of feathers – striped gray and white or brown and white, and Plymouth Rock tells you where the chickens originated, Plymouth Rock, Massachusetts. Read MoreThe Bachelor TV show came to town and we were honored to have them request an evening here at The Farm. It was heartbreaking to have to tell the planner that we were already booked. So I am going to watch this season show to see where the happy couple went for their North Carolina date night.
Read MoreTuggar Tales has his own website and blog so along with his owner, they came to visit us here at The Farm Cabins two times. Once on their way to NJ to the beach and then on their way home. Rock was interested in the 8 mo old puppy, but then Rock is so huge he is interested in anything small that moves !!! Thanks Tuggar for coming to visit us and we hope you come again.
